About the project
I designed this logo at my first paid design job working as the marketing assistant in the marketing department at Texas Tech University Press. TTUP is an academic book publisher affiliated with the university. They commissioned me with the task of designing the marketing collateral for their holiday open house.
This conceptual logo marries books and the holidays in a playful design that became the centerpiece of the open house promotional collateral, and became a fixture in future open house promotions for years to come.
