About the project
I was approached by a community garden based in Utah to create a logo. This solution utilizes custom typography that I drew. I wanted a break in each letterform–which presented a bit of an issue when it came to the letter ‘o’. It seemed fitting to break this letterform with a leaf-shaped trowel, not unlike how the members of the garden will be breaking ground with their own trowels. I chose brown and green to represent the soil of the ground, and the green plants that will rise out of it.
